The theme of the 35th Annual Destin Seafood Festival, “Heritage on the Destin Harbor Boardwalk,” celebrates the festival’s location, right on the Destin harbor, among its docks, charter boats, and fishermen.
Artists are invited to submit their handcrafted work showcasing this theme by 11 a.m. June 1. No computer-generated or enhanced artwork will be accepted.
The entries will be voted on by the Destin Seafood Festival Committee and the Destin Charter Boat Association and the winner will be announced on June 15.
The 35the Annual Destin Seafood Festival is going to set up along the length of Destin harbor from Harborwalk Village to Heron Harbor, including Harry T's, Olin Marlers, AJ's, Galati's, Dewey Destin's, the City of Destin Royal Melvin Heritage Park, Fisherman’s Wharf and East Pass Marina on Oct. 4-Oct. 6. The location puts the festival right in the heart of the action along the harbor and the Destin Fishing Rodeo, which takes place the entire month of October.
More than 65,000 locals and visitors attended the 2012 festival to enjoy live music, delicious seafood, and more.
