At the upcoming Destin Flathead Classic, local fishing Captain Pat Dineen of the SunSports TV Network's "Chevy Florida Fishing Report" and the brand new "Florida Insider Fishing Report," will be competing aboard a customized 24-foot SKEETER as the newest member of the Legendary Marine SKEETER PRO FISHING TEAM.

The tournament, presented by the new Boshamp's Seafood & Oyster House restaurant, runs April 22-28, with the boat division exclusively sponsored by Legendary Marine.

"We are very excited to be involved in this new tournament, and especially pleased to welcome Captain Pat Dineen who will fish aboard his customized new SKEETER and represent Legendary Marine in this premier event," said Legendary Marine Managing Partner Fred Pace. "Partnering with Pat, who is among the best in the business, along with top brand SKEETER and the tournament organizers to promote fishing in our market represents a winning combination."

Dineen specializes in light tackle inshore gulf and backcountry bay fly and spin fishing throughout Northwest Florida. His company, Flyliner Charters, Inc., is popular among locals and tourists alike, thanks to the great mix of top notch boats and equipment used, as well as Dineen's considerable expertise.

His Thursday night regional TV appearances, summarizing area fishing action and up-to-the-minute reports, is a favorite among area anglers. In addition to representing Legendary Marine and SKEETER, Dineen is also actively engaged with the Coastal Conservation Association and the Federation of Flyfishers.

He has served as a panelist at the regional Saltwater Sportsman magazine seminars and the Florida Sportsman magazine road shows. He has also been featured in multiple fishing magazine articles.

"We look forward to working with Pat in tournament fishing events like the Destin Flathead Classic, as well as a variety of promotional seminars and activities this summer," added Pace. "Legendary Marine is all about helping our boat owners and customers enjoy their boats and maximize their time on the water. Certainly Pat can share many fishing tips and techniques that will benefit Legendary Marine's very active and enthusiastic angler community."

For his first assignment in this new appointment with Legendary Marine, Dineen and crew will fish the Destin Flathead Classic, with proceeds to benefit the Austin Lacey Fund (www.austinlaceyfund.com). The fund is dedicated to raising awareness, facilitating early diagnosis and providing support for young adults with cancer.
