Nook eBook Reader Users
The Destin Library has scheduled a Nook eBook Reader Users group meeting at 5:30 p.m. May 2 in the Calhoun Room. Marysia Mann, digital sales lead for Barnes & Noble, will discuss the Nook as well as other electronic devices available from Barnes & Nobel. Participants will learn how to download eBooks from the Okaloosa County Public Library Cooperative website to their reader. Library patrons and interested residents should pre-register at 837-8572.
The Choctawhatchee Audubon Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. May 2 in Room 132 of the new Student Services Center at the Niceville Campus of NWFSC. Peggy Baker of the Frances M. The Friends of the Destin Library will meet at 3 p.m. May 7. Program is Mind, Body & Spirit (a Sanity “Sampler”) by Maria Sellers, area massage therapist and relaxation consultant.
