World Oceans Day
DESTIN - Henderson Beach State Park will celebrate World Oceans Day with family-centered activities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 8. An informative sea turtle program will be presented by park rangers. The Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge staff will bring their animal ambassadors to share their rescue stories. Children’s ocean-themed art activities will also be included. Rock the Docks LIVE
DESTIN - Rock the Docks LIVE with a free public concert at 7 p.m. Saturdays beginning at HarborWalk Village. Audience members can join house band Déjà Vu and sing with full lights and sound show.
DESTIN - Big Kahuna's VIP Day will be held June 9 with 100 percent of proceeds to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida. VIP Tickets are $30 each or 4 for $110 and must be purchased in advance. Ticket price includes admission to the water park from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Aloha Picnic Buffet from 12-2 p.m.; and an opportunity to meet Ronald McDonald. DESTIN - Come to HarborWalk Village at 6 p.m. June 9 to see "Pirate Pete and the Case of the Missing Fisherman," an interactive children's show that searches the area for Fisherman Fred. Be prepared to sing, dance, and be silly. You might even get picked to be part of the crew of Pirate Pete's ship.
DESTIN – Every Tuesday during the summer from 6-10 p.m. HarborWalk Village transforms into "The Big Easy" with floats, beads, the Village Brass Band, stilt walkers, jugglers and lots of excitement during the parade through the Village.

Concerts in the Village

Red, White and Blue Celebration
DESTIN – The Red, White, and Blue Celebration, honoring a local hero who goes above and beyond to better their community, will be held from 6-8 p.m. every Thursday at HarborWalk Village. Dancing with Desire
FORT WALTON BEACH - The Fred Astaire Dance Studio presents Dancing with Desire at 7 p.m. June 13 at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center in Niceville. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Children in Crisis to help provide homes to abused and neglected. Ticket prices are $35/military and seniors, $50/general admission, and $100/VIP. National Flip Flop Day
DESTIN - The sixth annual event hosted by Tropical Smoothie Café will be held June 14. HarborWalk Village Tropical Smoothie will hand out free Jetty Punch smoothies to guests wearing flip-flops plus families will enjoy games and activities for all ages to raise money for Camp Sunshine, an organization that helps children with life-threatening illnesses and their families to make magical memories within the unique confines of Camp Sunshine.
DESTIN - The new generation of New Orleans funk-rock continues to thrive in the Big Easy with the hard-hitting sounds of Flow Tribe, who will perform June 14 at Funky Blues Shack.
DESTIN – The Destin History & Fishing Museum will host its annual Old Fashioned Fish Fry fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 15 at Harry T's Lighthouse at HarborWalk Village. The proceeds from this event benefit the restoration of the historic Primrose vessel.
Tickets are available in advance at the museum for $13, and can also be purchased the day of the event for $15. Tickets for children ages 12 or under are $5. Call 837-6611.
