Red, White and Blue Celebration

FORT WALTON BEACH – The merchants of Downtown Fort Walton Beach will host an Art Walk from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Aug. 16 on U.S. 98. Fluid Surf Shop sponsors an outdoor surf movie after sunset on the corner of U.S. 98 and Ferry Road that features both vintage and new surfer movies, all family friendly and free to the public. Bring a chair or blanket.
DESTIN -The 28th Annual Charity Auction begins with a silent auction from 6-8 p.m. Aug. 24 on The Big Deck at Harbor Docks Restaurant, 538 Harbor Blvd. Live auction follows, with auctioneer/host Ted Corcoran. A $15 donation will be accepted at the door and a buffet dinner and cash bar will be provided. Local musician Chris Alvarado will play during the silent auction and Destin favorite Cadillac Willy will perform after the live auction.
