William Eddins, State Attorney for the First Judicial Circuit, announced Monday that Arderious Warren was sentenced to 23.6 years prison followed by life probation on the charge of second degree murder and attempted first degree felony murder, according to a press release.
Warrenpled guilty on July 25, 2013 to second degree murder and attempted first degree felony murder for the death of Junior Christopher Ferguson and the shooting of Peter Frazer.
The charges arose from an incident that occurred when Ferguson and Frazer were shot during a robbery at the Gulf Terrace apartments in Destin on November 15, 2011. Frazer was shot once in the shoulder and Ferguson was shot in the chest. Ferguson died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
The sentence was imposed by the Honorable Judge William F. Stone. Assistant State Attorney Angela Mason prosecuted the case.
