Feline Friends of Destin, Inc. will convene its 2013 Annual General Meeting at 6 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Destin Community Center Annex, 101 Stahlman Ave.  Installation of the board members, a financial overview, and a brief summary of the group’s work over the past 12 months will be presented. Horticulture studies



Tri-County Horticulture Studies will be held at 10 a.m. Sept. 19 at the Valparaiso Community Library meeting room, 459 Valparaiso Parkway. Marie Harrison will give a PowerPoint presentation about fall-blooming plants and fall gardening tasks. Following the program, the group will go to Emerald Coast Nursery for a guided tour featuring fall blooming plants. The public is welcome and admission is free.
