In the early days, after graduation from Auburn, Wayneette was employed in the computer business at Waterman Steamship in Mobile, subsequently by Auburn University then Wachovia Bank in Winston-Salem, N.C. At the birth of her first child, she unselfishly dedicated herself to becoming a perfect mom and homemaker.

Due to her warm, caring and supportive personality, everyone liked Waynnette. We never met a person that didnít like Waynnette. She never met a person that she didnít like. She loved the Destin beach, sun and sand, Destin United Womanís Club, Auburn University, Lineville, Ala., animals, home management and spending time with friends and family.

Waynnette is survived by her husband of 55 years, Curtis Culwell; son, Lonnie Culwell; daughter, Lynne Culwell Broach; grandson, Cory Culwell; granddaughters, Conner Caroline Broach and Emma Grace Broach.  As a very well-liked servant of God, she is also survived by a host of close friends and fellow servants in Huntsville, Lineville and Destin.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Emerald Coast Hospice or Destin United Methodist Womanís Club.
