William Senkbeil II
Master Sgt. (U.S. Air Force Ret.)/Fire Marshal, Frederick William Senkbeil II, 67, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., passed away at his home Nov. 15, 2013. He was born on Oct. 10, 1946, in Mt. Clemens, Mich., to Arnold and Florence (Rivard) Senkbeil.
Mr. Senkbeil was a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he proudly served for 20 years. He recently retired after 28 years as fire marshal and assistant chief for the Ocean City Wright Fire Department. Mr. Senkbeil studied at Yale University and was a graduate of St. Leo College.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Darlene Senkbeil; daughter and son-in-law, Carey and Ernest Kamber Jr. of Blairsville, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Rodney Young of Warner Robins, Ga.; stepson and daughter-in-law, Joseph III and Judy Spradlin of Fort Walton Beach; stepson, Roger Spradlin of Destin; grandchildren, Breana, Joshua (Katlin), Corina and Caleb Kamber, Maya and Jayda Young, Katie, Joseph IV, and Trenton Spradlin; great-grandchild, Allison Kamber; sister, Marlane Gardner of Cottrellville, Mich.; brother, Kerry Senkbeil of Springhill, Fla.; brother, Carl Senkbeil of South Carolina; and sister, Julie Millard of Lake Havasu, Ariz. Numerous nieces and nephews also share in his legacy.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Nov. 22, at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road, NW, Fort Walton Beach. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
