Barbi Carroll, founder of Mission Love Seeds, reports she has heard from Fely Zapanta, Mission coordinator in the Philippines, who is with the Mission Team. As of press time, they were stranded in Leyte.

“We are all ok, having vehicle problems,” Fely texted. “We are stranded here, waiting for parts to fix the vehicle to arrive from Manila. We are here waiting in an old shed, but we are safe and ok.

“Devastation so overwhelming, we ran out of supplies and food to feed families. Did feedings for families in four entire villages until food and supplies ran out. Gave out all the relief supplies and coming home with just clothes on our backs. The food went very fast. People are so hungry and staving. We felt so bad we could not do more.

“We need to return here, to help more. My heart breaks for the kids. There is no source of Internet or electric. Very little clean water. Will send photos when we return. Please keep us in your prayers.”

Donations are still needed to help the Mission Team help the survivors. Donate at missionloveseeds.org, email missionloveseeds@cox.net, or mail check to 55 Country Club Drive East, Destin FL 32541.

No donation is too small.
