Nick Draper connected for four hits to lead Silver Sands Premium Outlets in a 22-21 win over Cheney Insurance for the championship title of Men's Recreational Softball end of season tournament for the Lower Division.



Draper belted a triple, double and two singles for two RBIs.



At the end of two innings, the game was tied at 6-6. In the next two innings, Silver Sands pulled away for a 15-10 advantage. Trailing 22-12, Cheney threatened in the sixth inning with eight runs, but Silver Sands held on for the win.



Frank Jordan hit three doubles and a single for three RBIs for Silver Sands. Joe Kerns tripled and hit two doubles for five RBIs.



Tucker Ellis connected for three doubles and a single for three RBIs for Cheney. Justin Destin tripled, doubled and singled for an RBI, and Tyler Bailey hit three singles for four RBIs. Carter Liufau slapped a home run.



Cheney Insurance 25, L-3



Cheney led 8-4 at the end of two innings and then blew the game open in the fourth with 11 runs.



Taylor Harry cranked out two homers and a single for six RBIs for Cheney. Carter Liufau hit two doubles and a single for two RBIs, and Trey Windes, doubled and hit two singles for three RBIs.



Brad Sasser doubled and singled for an RBI for L-3. Shaun Keen and Russell Colburn each hit two singles. Mike Stanley cranked out a home run.



Silver Sands Premium Outlets 41, L-3 34



Silver Sands had two big innings, 12 runs in the fourth and 14 in the sixth.



Nick Draper knocked in five runs for Silver Sands on two doubles and two singles. Todd Schrag tripled and hit three doubles for five RBIs, and Corey Burkhart doubled and hit three singles for three RBIs.



Frank Spitz was tops for L-3 with a homer, triple and three singles for four RBIs. Russell Colburn homered, doubled and hit three singles for two RBIs, and Brad Sasser doubled and hit four singles for three RBIs. Mike Stanley, Danny Blakely and Robert Colbert each cranked out a home run.



 



UPPER DIVISION



BlueGreen Landscape beat Unique Audio 21-20 to win the championship of the Upper Division of the Men's Recreational Softball end of season tournament.



BlueGreen took the early lead, 19-10 at the end of three innings.



Andrew Elliott was the big stick for BlueGreen with six RBIs on two homers, a triple and a double. Billy Roof hit four singles for an RBI, and Blake Byerly homered and hit two singles for three RBIs. Kyle Kriech and Jesse Hart each clobbered home runs.



Travis Holcomb tripled and hit three singles for two RBIs for Unique Audio. Brandon Daughtery hit three singles and Billy Refsneider homered and hit two singles for four RBIs. Brandon Patzig and Josh Hall each hit home runs.



Unique Audio 17, BlueGreen Landscape 12



Unique led 10-7 at the end of three innings.



Josh Hall slapped a home run, double and two singles for four RBIs for Unique Audio. Brian Moore doubled and hit two singles for an RBI, and Travis Holcomb hit two doubles and a single for an RBI. Steve Rivera Brandon Daughtery and Billy Refsneider each hit home runs.



Andrew Elliott homered and hit two singles for an RBI for BlueGreen. Kyle Kennedy tripled and hit two singles for three RBIs, and John Franklin hit two singles. Kyle Kriech belted a home run.



Unique Audio 22, Ivey League 9



Unique Audio was on top 10-6 at the end of three innings. They went on to score six runs in the fourth and six in the fifth for the win.



Justin Chaknis doubled and hit two singles for three RBIs for Unique Audio. Matt Williams hit three singles and Brandon Patzig homered and singled for an RBI. Joseph Carlee, Travis Holcomb, Steve Rivera and Joseph Carlee each belted home runs.



Jarod Hale homered and singled for two RBIs for Ivey League. Quinn Crozier homered and doubled for two RBIs, and Rick Owens tripled and singled for an RBI.
