Legendary Marine, the Gulf Coast's largest local boat dealership, was named "Dealer of the Year" for the second consecutive year by Boating Industry Magazine as part of its annual TOP 100 awards program held in Orlando on Nov. 20, 2013. The "Dealer of the Year" award is the single most prestigious and most highly coveted recognition in North America for marine retailers and is presented annually to only one dealer at an exclusive gathering of the marine industry elite.
"Legendary wowed us with the wave of improvements the company made over the last year, from the Five Star Military VIP Program to the Legends Boating Club," said Boating Industry Editor in Chief Jonathan Sweet. "It's a record that made it nearly impossible for us not to recognize Legendary Marine for the second year in a row."
Legendary Marine Managing Partner Fred Pace and his senior leadership team accepted the award at a gala Top 100 ceremony of more than 1,000 attending.
"Winning this award two years in a row is a wonderful achievement for our entire team," said Legendary Marine Managing Partner Fred Pace. "I have to credit each and every person who is part of the Legendary Marine family for their extraordinary performance and contributions to our success. It definitely is a team effort that made this recognition possible."
Besides this top national retail recognition, Legendary Marine has also received additional accolades in 2013. Legendary Marine won the No. 1 Dealer Nationwide for Sales from Everglades Boats based in Edgewater and No. 1 for Gamefish Sales for Sea Hunt Boats, Columbia, S.C. On a regional basis, Legendary Marine was voted by readers of Emerald Coast Magazine as the "BEST of the Emerald Coast for Boat Sales and Service" for the eleventh year in this category.
Legendary Marine, with sales and service locations in Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Panama City and Gulf Shores, Ala., represents Skeeter, Sea Hunt, Everglades, Cobalt, Marquis, Chris Craft, Hurricane, Carver and Scout boats, along with power partners Volvo, MerCruiser and Yamaha.
