Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge receives grant

Fort Walton Beach based nonprofit organization, Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge, was chosen as a recipient of the 2013 IMPACT 100 of Northwest Florida grant, which awarded two nonprofits with grants in the amount of $110,000 to help fund impactful community projects.

“We are beyond grateful to receive the support of IMPACT 100’s membership and the funding to further our mission by beginning construction of our new clinic on Okaloosa Island,” said Amanda Wilkerson, executive director of Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge. “The funding will vastly improve the quality of care we can provide our patients, in addition to improving our organization’s visibility within the community.”
