Wyndham Vacation Rentals recently announced that associate Dustin “Dusti” Alford was selected to receive the fourth quarter award for “Count on Me!” service by Wyndham Exchange & Rentals, as part of its “Count on Me!” recognition program.
Alford was recognized for her assistance after a pedestrian accident occurred in South Walton County. Upon witnessing the accident, Alford cared for the teenage boy who was struck by a car until paramedics arrived and alerted his parents after searching the nearby beach to find his family.
The Wyndham Worldwide “Count on Me!” recognition program honors associates who live the service promise: to be responsive, to be respectful and to deliver a great experience. Winners are awarded within each division and in each region.
Nominated by her supervisor, Alford was presented with the Wyndham Exchange & Rentals fourth quarter award by Geoff Ballotti, president and CEO, Wyndham Exchange & Rentals, during the company’s recent quarterly Town Hall meeting. In addition to winning the brand’s corporate award, Alford was also recognized with the Gulf Region’s fourth quarter “Count on Me!” award.
“We are incredibly proud of Dusti’s outstanding service, and we couldn’t be happier to see her honored by our corporate office for her dedication not only to our guests, but to the entire community,” said Lino Maldonado, vice president of operations, Wyndham Vacation Rentals, Gulf Region. “After selecting Dusti as the recipient of our region’s ‘Count on Me!’ award, we jumped at the opportunity to nominate her for the corporate award. Dusti’s service is truly commendable and certainly embodies the level of service we strive to deliver with Wyndham’s ‘Count on Me!’ promise.
“We know our people are our greatest asset — they’re the heart of our business,” added Maldonado. “With approximately 9,100 Wyndham Exchange & Rentals associates across the world, Dusti is one shining example of how our employees can make a real difference. Her efforts show her accountability and strong passion for the community, attributes that we as a company hold in high regard.”
