S.O.U.L. singers to perform
Singers of United Lands (S.O.U.L.) will perform at 11:30 a.m. March 23 in the Fellowship Hall at The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Emerald Coast, 1295 N. Bayshore Drive in Valparaiso.
Four professional young adults, each from a different country comprise this unique quartet. They take a year off from their careers and travel the country sharing their cultures, musicianship and their native songs. S.O.U.L. has performed at UUFEC and area schools and libraries for the last several years.
This year’s members are from Croatia, Nigeria, Taiwan and Uruguay. They are enthusiastic about sharing their respective cultures and native songs with children and adults.
The concert is free to the public, although donations are welcome and encouraged.
Come Holy Spirit
Beginning on March 25 and continuing the last Tuesday of each month, Immanuel Anglican in Destin will host a new time with the Holy Spirit from 6:30-8:30 p.m. — a time to worship in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24) There will be informal teachings and sharing on the release of the Spirit and how He is moving among His people. We are excited and expectant to see how the Spirit will move among us as we come together in unity and harmony with Him and one another.
As the banner in the sanctuary says, we are coming together “expecting miracles” to happen. It is our prayer that all will come and see what God will be doing among His people. The praise band will lead us in worship and we have a great team of facilitators to lead us.
Childcare will be provided. As a kickoff to the first evening, all are invited to bring a covered dish to share for dinner at 5:30 p.m. Immanuel is at 250 Indian Bayou Trail in Destin. Call 837-6324 or email Immanuel@gnt.net for more information
Impact Life Church will host a free community event, “Pirates Treasure Egg Hunt,” from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. April 19 at Marler Park on Okaloosa Island, behind the Emerald Coast Convention Center.
Is your church planning a special program, a musical event or having a guest speaker? Have a special photograph to share or an article to submit? Let us know what is going on in your congregation. Send Easter services schedule to Pam Griffin at email@example.com.
