Pastor Appreciation Month
At morning service Oct. 21, stamped envelopes addressed to the pastor will be available for each member of First Baptist Church Destin to mail a personal note of encouragement and appreciation to pastor Dr. Farren Roper.
At 5:30 p.m. Oct. 24, soup, salad and something sweet will be served in the fellowship hall for an hour of camaraderie, appreciation and affirmation to honor pastor and his wife, Laurie, for their work and dedication. To help, call 499-2622.
Paul's letter to Thessalonica encouraged the church to honor their leader who labors, prays, serves and is sincerely devoted to the work of the Lord suggesting these messengers of Christ should be the benefactor of our affection.
