Local churches have planned numerous events during December to celebrate the Christmas season.

Destin United Methodist Church

Immanuel Anglican Church

The Greatest Gift Camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 15 for ages third through fifth grades to celebrate Jesus’ birthday. Download registration form at iacdestin.org under ministries/children tab.

Noah’s Ark last day of school and Christmas party will be from 6-10 p.m. Dec. 18 and the YAIA (Youth) Christmas party will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Dec. 19.

Destiny Worship Center

Shoreline’s Misfit Christmas

Shoreline Church at the Rave presents a two-part sermon, “Misfit Christmas,” on Dec. 16 and 23.

The church is partnering with two organizations that help people who are sometimes considered misfits get back on their feet — Children in Crisis and Sober by the Sea.

Children in Crisis provides emergency shelter and foster homes for the abused, neglected and abandoned children of Northwest Florida.

Sober by the Sea is filling a need for a Christ-based recovery center in Northwest Florida, providing addiction recovery services for men and women, human trafficking recovery for women, and homeless outreach.

On Sunday, Dec. 16, bring Walmart or Target gift cards in any denomination (no toys or clothes) to Shoreline for Children in Crisis or give a special monetary gift to help Sober by the Sea purchase their facility in Walton County.

Safe Harbor Presbyterian Church

Safe Harbor will have a Christmas Cantata during its 10:30 a.m. worship on Dec. 16.
