Aaron Sweeney knocked three out of the park to lead 729-HURT in a 25-24 win over Doc's Softball Softies in the championship game of the Men's Competitive Softball League tournament at Morgan Sports Center in Destin.



In addition to Sweeney's three homers, he also hit a single for eight RBIs.



HURT trailed 16-11 at the end of five innings. In the top of the sixth, HURT exploded with 11 runs and then held on for the win.



Tate DeShong smacked a home run, two triples, and a double for three RBIs for HURT. Max Martin doubled and hit three singles for two RBIS. Travis Sweeney and Logan Meadows also popped home runs.



Skeeter Johnson led Doc's with two home runs, a double and a two singles for four RBIs. Jesse Hernandez doubled and hit four singles for four RBIs, and Kevin Bush slapped a home run, two doubles and a single for five RBIs. Vinnie Dima blasted two home runs.

Doc's started strong with 23 runs in the first. Doc's went on to score nine in the second and 14 in the third.



Kevin Bush blasted two home runs, two doubles and a single for four RBIS for Doc's. William Johnson homered and hit five singles for four RBIs, and Jeff Milam doubled and hit four singles for six RBIS.



Others hitting home runs for Doc's were Steve Rivera, Vinnie Dima, Adam Conant and Joe Agostinelle.



Carlos Izquiedro led Pike Painting with a home run and a single for two RBIs. Justin Giggz tripled and singled for an RBI, and J.C. Colbourne hit two singles for an RBI. Steve Bartlett and Brandon Brader each clobbered a home run.
