Snowbird Movie Matinees

DESTIN – The Friends of the Destin Library will present Shirley Simpson on stage in “Leading Ladies” at 3 p.m. Jan. 11 in the library’s Calhoun Room. Tickets for this one‐hour event are $5 each ($3 for seniors and students) and are available from the Destin Library. To be assured of seating tickets must be purchased and picked up by Jan. 10. New York Tenors

Cat show



OKALOOSA ISLAND Destiny Cat Fanciers will host its seventh annual Cat Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan 12 and 13 at the Emerald Coast Convention Center. Admission is $6/adults and $5/seniors, military and children 4-12. Children under 4 are admitted free. Get $1 off your admission with a large can or unopened bag of cat food.
Local rescue group Feline Friends of Destin will bring homeless pets for adoption, collect donations and sell promotional items to support their efforts.
