Louis Stephen Hebert
Louis Stephen Hebert, 61, of Destin, Fla., passed away on Jan. 10, 2013. He was the first child born to Edmond Stephen Hebert and Betty Louise Grosz on Sept. 29, 1951, in New Orleans, La.
Louis was preceded in death by his father, Edmond; and brothers, Paul Robert Hebert and Marc Lawrence Hebert.
Louis is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kathy; daughter, Stephanie; mother, Betty; step-father, Ronald Erwin Nix; sister, Roxane Louise (Kevin) Dowd; two brothers-in-law; two sisters-in law; two nieces; two nephews and their families.
Louis grew up in Fort Walton Beach, while attending local schools such as Saint Mary's, Choctawhatcheee, Okaloosa Walton College and Troy State University. His endless career began with an interest and education in electronics technology, and he spent the last 30 years working for a government contractor at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., specializing in the Facility Security Industry.
Louis lived life to the fullest while he enjoyed playing racquetball, fishing, traveling, outdoor grilling, watching Saints football games, and reading about street cars and trains.

He extended that compassion and love not only to all of his family, but to friends as well whenever any of them needed his help. Louis will be remembered for his desire and ability to make others happy, his generosity, kindness, and his passion for adventure and learning.
