Jim ‘N Nick’s named one of 50 Breakout Brands
Restaurant trade publication Nation’s Restaurant News has named Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q one of the industry’s “Breakout Brands” of the year. “The NRN 50” list highlights the most exciting emerging restaurant concepts that make their marks through innovation experiences and cutting-edge cuisine.
The article cites Jim ‘N Nick’s emergence as a visionary for effecting change in the national food system through a combination of networking with the farming community, to utilizing local produce and heritage-bred, free-range pork. Owner Nick Pihakis is commended for connecting pitmasters, fine-dining chefs, and other likeminded individuals to further this movement and devotion to high-quality food.
A state-of-the-art inventory and personnel-management system are other factors warranting Jim ‘N Nick’s inclusion in this esteemed group.
