Vacation Bible School


Good News United Methodist Church
Visit SonWorld Adventure Park during vacation Bible school from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 14-18 at Good News United Methodist Church, 4747 U.S. 98 in Santa Rosa Beach. Children in grades K-6 in fall 2008 are welcome. An $8 fee per child covers supplies and a T-shirt.
 Enter SonWorld Adventure Park where kids will discover that choosing Jesus is the ticket to the best ride of their lives. Based on Joshua 24:15, kids will learn to make five right choices in a world of options: Choose to Believe, Act, Forgive, Obey and Choose Jesus! At this theme park, there’s no height requirement, the lines are short and everyone gets a good view of the parade. But hold onto your hats, because it’s sure to be a life-changing ride!

Destin Church of Christ
Walk to remember and experience Jesus’  last day on earth during Jerusalem Marketplace, a Holy Land Adventure vacation Bible school at Destin Church of Christ from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 4-7. For ages 4 years old through fifth grade.
Bring the most friends for a fantastic prize. Children will also be collecting school supplies for the needy.
Parent Night will be held at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 8 for awards and presentations.
The church is at 150 Beach Drive. Call 837-8050.

Holy Mackerel Kidz Summer Camp
Holy Mackerel Kidz Summer Camp provides a fun wholesome Christ-centered summer experience for children ages K-5. The only children’s summer camp offered in Destin, Holy Mackerel includes games, activities, field trips, opportunities for learning and great times with new friends.
Each week-long session runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Camp fees are very reasonable, and scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Register now, or for more information call Tami Bonhardt-Carr at Immanuel Church at 837-6324.
