Destin City Hall
All City Council meetings, workshops, executive sessions and CRA Board meetings are held at the City Hall Annex, 4100 Indian Bayou Trail. All other board and committee meetings are held at City Hall, 4200 Indian Bayou Trail. Meetings are subject to change or cancellation without further notice. Agendas for city committees are posted at City Hall for review.

Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance
The Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance Advisory Committee will meet at 4 p.m. Dec. 2 at Florida’s Great Northwest, Inc., 4471 Legendary Drive, Suite 100 in Destin. This meeting is open to the public.

Democratic Women’s Club
The Okaloosa County Democratic Women’s Club will hold its annual Christmas party at 6 p.m. Dec. 5 at Quality Inn Bayside on U.S. 98 in Fort Walton Beach. Local musician, Dave Abraham, will provide music.
All guests and members are asked to bring an unwrapped gift for a child ages 3 weeks to teens at Opportunity Place homeless shelter and a pot luck dish to share. Gifts not requiring batteries or electricity are requested.

ECAF
The Emerald Coast Advertising Federation will meet at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 8 at the Emerald Grande in Destin’s HarborWalk Village. The program, “Holiday Toss Up,” will promote networking among members of the three host organizations.
Attendees are encouraged to bring door prizes for the event. The cost is $20/members who RSVP and $25/non-members as well as members who do not RSVP. Make reservations by Dec. 4 at RSVP@EmeraldCoastAdFed.com.

Destin Woman’s Club
The Destin Woman’s Club will meet for its Christmas Luncheon at 11 a.m. Dec. 9 at Flemings Restaurant at Grand Boulevard in Sandestin.
Peter Bennett of the Mecca Group will give a presentation on attracting major events to our area.
Program includes a visit from Santa and members Christmas exchange with $15 limit. Bring gifts for angel tree and unwrapped Toys For Tots donation.
Lunch is $20 and reservations are by Dec. 4 at 622-0014.

Retired Officers’ Wives’ Club
The Northwest Florida Retired Officers’ Wives’ Club will meet at 11 a.m. Dec. 17 at the Eglin AFB Officers Club. The program will be “Sweet Adelines.” Make reservatiions by Dec. 11 at 609-8075.

Delta Delta Delta Sorority
The Emerald Coast Alum Chapter of Delta Delta Delta will meet Feb. 13 at Sandestin Beach Club. Call 897-3666.

Coffee and Cars
Emerald Coast Muscle Car Club hosts Coffee and Cars the last Sunday of every month in Uptown Station in Fort Walton Beach. For information, call 200-2465 or e-mail dfureigh@fwb.org.

Destin Kiwanis Club
The Destin Kiwanis Club meets at 7:30 a.m. every Thursday at the Kelly Plantation Golf Club.

Destin Rotary
The Destin Rotary meets at 7:15 a.m. every Tuesday at Rutherford’s 465. Call 269-1080.

Flotilla 1-4 USCG Auxiliary
Flotilla 1-4 USCG Auxiliary meets at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month at Coast Guard Station Destin on Okaloosa Island. Anyone wishing to become a member is welcome to attend. Prior military duty is not required. Call 837-3717.

Rotary Club of South Walton
The Rotary Club of South Walton meets for breakfast at 7:30 a.m. each Thursday morning at the Embassy Suites, Scenic Hwy. 98, Miramar Beach. Visiting Rotarians and their guests are welcome. Call 267-2929.

Optimist Club
The Destin Optimist Club meets at noon on the second Thursday of each month at The Lighthouse restaurant. Cost of lunch is $11. Call 650-2800.
