Former 'Hot Destin Girls' escort arrested, charged with drug possession (MUG)

FORT WALTON BEACH — A 24-year-old woman whose former occupation was working as an escort for Hot Destin Girls was arrested Dec. 23 after Okalooas County Sheriff's Office deputies received a tip that she had outstanding warrants for her arrest.

At the time, Shoshannah Diaz was getting a tan at a Fort Walton Beach tanning and massage parlor, according to her arrest report.

After she came out of the booth, deputies made contact with her. She gave them permission to search her and the tanning booth she had been using, the report said.

While searching the tanning booth, deputies found a purple tin can with a small amount of cocaine inside, as well as a glass pipe that was burnt on both ends. They also found the the woman's wanted poster with her name and picture on it.

Diaz told the police the pipe and cocaine were hers and that she had hid them after she saw deputies at the tanning business.

She was charged with possessing drugs and narcotics equipment.
