Police: Son restrains father at Club Aqua; father tries to start fight, gets tased

A 48-year-old man was tased and arrested for disorderly conduct after his son was "apparently attacked" at Club Aqua, according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office arrest report.

The father was screaming and trying to push his way past security at the club at 76 Harbor Boulevard around 3 a.m., the report said. A deputy saw the man become hostile and separated him from security.

The man continued to try to push his way into the club and had to be restrained by his son, the report said. The son, security and bystanders tried to force the father into a car.

He flailed his arms about and attempted to fight the bystanders, the report said. The deputy had to use a taser in order to carry out an arrest.

The man was charged with disorderly conduct and is due in court March 9.
