Connecting the dots and finding God

Why anyone would believe that God didn’t create the universe is beyond me.
The heavens declare His Glory, and on this good earth we have countless living things that reveal His incredible creativity.
How can anyone in good conscience say that all of this “evolved” from some big bang or cosmic explosion? If God used an explosion to start the process, good for Him. But have you ever examined your own eye? You are blessed with not one but two TV-like cameras that can allow you to function all by yourself. Without them you would need someone to guide you everywhere.
For all who demand that there is no God as revealed in the Bible, why don’t they take a walk around a park or go out on a fishing boat?
For over 65 years, my family was in the deep sea fishing business. Before we even reached the fishing grounds we were treated to a world of sea birds, porpoise and my very favorite of all, the flying fish.
My customers would stand at the rail and point with childlike glee as the fresh smelling salt water opened their sinuses, allowing them to enjoy air without any pollutants. It was also a time of education. For what they had only read in books before, was now on full display right before their eyes.
God is so Good!
The evolutionist must have a hard time when he also goes out in the woods or on the water. It must be extremely hard to grasp the magnitude of creation all the while trying to stuff it into a “theory.” Good gracious can’t someone set them free?
Well I’m going to try and hopefully in the process they will come to know the God of all creation. His Name is Jesus and we are told in the Bible that nothing came into being apart from Him.
Where we have trouble as humans is our unwillingness to understand that Jesus is Emmanuel or God with us. God is Spirit and until Jesus was born to Mary by the Holy Spirit, He didn’t have a human type of body. God is Light and is so bright that any human who focused their eyes upon Him would experience brightness greater than the flash of a hydrogen bomb.
Our flesh is mortal and the cemeteries worldwide attest to this fact. What isn’t mortal is our spirit. It is connected to our souls and will one day return to Him who created us. We will return as His adopted child or His enemy.
Jesus came to save sinners, and we are all guilty of breaking God’s laws. Even if you broke just one, it is enough for Him to send you away. He is very particular with whom He will live. He is holy and we aren’t, at least until we receive the Spirit of Jesus by faith. At that point His holiness is imputed to us.
Please read Romans 10:9-10 where we are also told that we are to confess Him as Lord. When we are later baptized, our confession is “acted out” by being submerged into a watery grave and then uplifted into His new life. This isn’t something made up by man but a command of God Himself.
If you haven’t “experienced” the new birth, why not surrender your all right now. When you do, His Spirit within you will allow you the same joy I have.
When I see an osprey here at our condo fishing from 50 feet up and dropping like a stone on a trout or mullet, I marvel and praise Him who has forgiven me. He is the One who will one day welcome me as not only a son of the living God, but a servant too. I have learned to be one with His Word with Ephesians 2:10 being the source of my commitment each morning.
I’ve seen the smallest living creatures to some of the largest and can not but be amazed as to just how complex they are.
By the way, I have seen monkeys too and must wonder how could we have evolved from them if they are still here too.
Folks, I believe God has many enemies, and these are the folks who want to use their “free will” to do their own thing.
Please do not follow them to the eternal fire. God has a place prepared for those who love Him. It is called the New Jerusalem. This Heavenly city is prepared to come down upon a new earth. This earth, according to God’s Word, will be destroyed by fire then He will prepare a brand new one for us.
