Lovelace designer lands national magazine cover
The design work of Lovelace Interiors’ Linda Holman, a licensed interior designer, is the current cover feature of Better Homes and Gardens “Beautiful Homes” publication.
Lovelace’s Holman worked with the homeowners and their architect from the blueprint stage to create the interiors of this breathtaking Hampton Beach, New Hampshire home, showcased in a 15-page spread of the Fall 2008 issue of “Beautiful Homes.”
Holman worked on- and off-site to design and specify the interior finishes and furnishings of the oceanfront stunner, featuring over 5,600 square-feet of living space on three levels.
“The owners wanted to bring the colors of the beach inside,” notes Holman, “but they didn’t want the typical New England cottage look. They wanted a more modern style with clean lines and an uncluttered feel.”
While Lovelace Interiors designs have been highly-esteemed locally for two decades, the firm’s portfolio has diversified geographically over the last five years due to a solid professional reputation and growing national acclaim, as well as a willingness and ability to professionally execute out-of-town design projects.
“After making drawings and selecting the finish details of the house,” explains Holman, “it took three trips to the site to coordinate during construction. The fourth and final trip was made to install all furniture and accessory items and to be available for the coordination of the window treatment installation.”
Holman’s Hampton Beach design was also featured on the cover of the July/August 2008 issue of New England Home magazine. Other Lovelace interior designs, both out-of-town and local, have graced the pages of Coastal Living, Southern Living, Florida Design, and Veranda magazines.
The Fall 2008 issue of Better Homes and Gardens “Beautiful Homes” publication is currently available on magazine stands nationwide.
