Meet the Bill Collector

Veronica Smith’s 5th wedding anniversary present was a mission to catch all types of billfish during the year. The only one lacking now is the white marlin which she will take care of in August. She caught the sailfish in the Keys, a swordfish earlier this year with Capt. Gary Jarvis aboard the Back Down II, and the blue marlin recently aboard the Sunrise with Capt. Kelly Windes and his mates Eric Auch and Jason Goodman. Capt. Kelly Windes said that, “Veronica is an outstanding angler on a mission. The blue was caught in 36 minutes on stand-up tackle.” The marlin weighed approximately 200 pounds.
