Jack Persinger
Jack Persinger passed away Feb. 18, 2012, at his home. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Henry and Elizabeth Persinger.
He leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Ursula; daughters, Teresa Maglio, Denise Swintal, Joanne Persinger and Nancy Persinger; sister, Mary Lou Snyder; three stepchildren, Charles Britton (deceased), Charlene Pearl, and Steven Britton (Kelly); 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Jack was a native of Chicago who migrated to the Emerald Coast in 1983 and was employed by the Chromalloy Company in Fort Walton Beach until his retirement in 1995.
He was a Marine Corps veteran and served in the Korean War. He was a Chosen Reservoir Survivor, a member in good standing of the 1st Marine Division Association, and the Chosen Few and Marine Corps League Detachment 915 in Destin.
No funeral services will be held. Jack will be laid to rest at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola.
