POLICE BLOTTER: Woman arrested for pouring water on customers at AJ's
DESTIN — A 45-year-old woman was arrested July 19 on charges of aggravated battery.
The woman was escorted out of AJ's Club for causing a disturbance, according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff's report.
Once outside, a member of AJ's staff asked her to sit outside while he got the manager. As soon as he turned his back, she attempted to get back into the club.
The two then fought to keep her outside. During the fight, the woman had a beer bottle in her hands.
When the man turned his back towards the woman a second time she allegedly struck him in the head with the bottle.
She denied hitting anyone when being questioned. She told deputies she was being escorted out of the club for pouring water on other customers and that was all she had done, the report said.
