Nancy Gaskins is well versed in the business of investing and the game of real estate. Now her keys to success are highlighted in her latest book.
“Dollar a Day Real Estate Investments: Wealth Building Strategies for Everyday People,” is Gaskins’ second book in her life enrichment 17-part book series “In Pursuit of the American Dream.”
Gaskins describes the book as an “affordable option for everyday people to invest in real estate for less than the price of one soft drink per day without all the hassles and headaches of buyers, sellers and tenants.”
Gaskins is a Troy State University Alumni and a former college professor and dean of education. She is also a professional speaker, author and consultant who specializes in small business management, sales and marketing, real estate investor training and military life issues.
Originally from Paragould, Ark., Gaskins moved to Miramar Beach from Grafenwoeher, Germany, about a year ago with her husband, who will soon be retiring from the military.
“I’ve been dreaming of getting down here,” Gaskins said.
She was prompted to create the series of books being a military spouse and realizing that these men and women needed a way to create income — without the ability to obtain certain licenses.
“With the unemployment rate, this would be an easy opportunity for people to recoup,” said Gaskins. “This would be a tangible ‘something’ for people to invest in and drive by.”
In retiring to the Gulf Coast, Gaskins wants to use her skills as a public speaker and life coach.
“I love personal development and anything you can do to improve yourself. I like to challenge others to succeed by setting goals that are realistic, by dreaming big and surrounding yourself with those who can help you,” she said.
She develops seminars utilizing seven key areas, where she uses teams and accountability to help achieve goals. She also offers a budding author workshop.
“I love getting on stage and making a difference in people’s lives who are in pursuit of the American Dream. I want to inspire, educate, and fill with purpose and balance as I stress the importance of being flexible,” said Gaskins. “I’ve got big dreams in this area and plan to use my military connections.”
The book is available at over 150,000 online retailers including Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million and Amazon. It is available in Destin at Barnes & Noble in Destin and you can also purchase the work directly from the author. You can contact Gaskins at Nancy.Gaskins@operationHSH.com
“I’d be hard pressed to find anyone who wouldn’t be willing to take advantage of this opportunity,” said Gaskins.
