Scott Richard Huenerberg
Destin resident Scott Richard Huenerberg, 53, passed away on Feb. 10, 2012.
He is survived by his most devoted Donna Patrick; ex-wife, Cheryl; sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Roger Brooks; niece, Tiffany D’Agostino; great-niece, Madison; and step-parents, Kenneth and Julia Comiskey. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol and brother, Richard.
Scott retired from the Coast Guard in 2000 after 22 years of service. Scott was an active member of the American Legion and the Destin Elks, where he served as an officer and was involved in many charitable activates.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Feb. 18 at the Destin Elks.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Destin Elks in Scott’s memory.
