Roebuck clarifies moving plans

After recently reporting that John Roebuck was moving its headquarters to Destin, the president and CEO of Roebuck Auctions said he will be coming to Destin, but his headquarters will remain in Memphis, Tenn.
Roebuck was quoted Friday in The Memphis Business Journal saying “that’s not true,” and that his business in Memphis was not going anywhere.
When reached for comment, Roebuck told The Log that he “misspoke” and should have been “more clear” when discussing the situation.
“We are going to be in both places, doing whatever we can to help those in need,” he said. “I’m looking forward to getting my feet on the ground in Destin.”
