David Seering at On The Rocks Bar
DESTIN – David Seering is performing at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays at Commander’s Palace, On The Rocks Bar, in HarborWalk Village. The local favorite’s music has been compared to Frank Sinatra and Harry Connick Jr., and is a must-see for visitors to the Destin area.
Holiday Delights
NICEVILLE – A musical and culinary treat, Holiday Delights, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 4 in the Tyler Recital Hall on the NWFSC Niceville campus in the Mattie Kelly Fine and Performing Arts Center. The Madrigals and Belle Voci will perform holiday selections ranging from Renaissance to vocal jazz and gospel.
Following the performance, gourmet cookies and coffee will be served. Tickets are now available for $15 from the Mattie Kelly Arts Center Box Office, by phone at 729-6000 or in-person.
The Swamp
OKALOOSA ISLAND – The All-American Rejects and Taking Back perform in concert Dec. 4. Admission begins at 6:30 p.m.; must be 18 to enter.

Dinner Theatre

Seaside Rep: A Christmas Carol
SANDESTIN – The Seaside Repertory Theatre brings Bruce Collier’s original adaptation of the classic Dickens tale back to the stage at the Village of Baytowne Wharf at 6 and 7 p.m. Dec. 4-19. The event is free.
See Rep actors imagine how the legendary author might have dreamed up the story that has become one of the most famous holiday stories of all time. Four talented actors play all the characters in the story, as well as a few more.
NWFSC Flute Quintet
DESTIN – The flute quintet “Furioso 5” of Northwest Florida State College will perform in concert at 2 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Destin Library, 150 Sibert Ave. as part of a special benefit for Harvest House hosted by the Destin Library. Concert attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items and toiletries to donate to the organization.
The group will also perform at 2 p.m. Dec. 6 in the Tyler Recital Hall of the Mattie Kelly Fine & Performing Arts Center at NWFSC in Niceville. The concert is free and open to the public.
American Legion

Anime South convention
DESTIN - The fifth annual Anime South convention, celebrating Japanese animation, music and culture, will be held Dec. 18-20 at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa.
