All-star summer jam
DESTIN – HarborWalk Village will host an all-star music concert to launch the long awaited CD, Falling Through The Cracks, from recording artist and local music scene favorite, Donnie Sundal, at 7 p.m. June 27. The concert is free and open to the public.
Top award winning musicians from all over the country will join Donnie on stage.
 The CD release party will begin at 6 p.m. at Commanders Palace on the Rocks Bar with a invitation only meet and greet with Donnie and special guests. The first 30 guests will receive a autographed CD.
 
Art exhibit: Ogden@WaterColor
WATERCOLOR – The diversity of Southern art and culture as explored through the medium of photography is now on view at the Ogden@WaterColor in WaterColor’s Town Center.
“Picturing the South – People, Land, Architecture, Cities: Photographs from the Permanent Collection of the Ogden Museum of Southern Art,” will showcase approximately 30 color and black and white photographs of the South ranging from the early 20th century to early 21st century. 
Museum hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Closed Wednesdays. Admission is free.  Call 231-0038.

Rock the Docks at HarborWalk Village
DESTIN  – Live music with Donnie Sundal and Friends from 7 to 9 p.m. June 27 on the Destin Harbor.

Saturday Beach Bonfires
SANDESTIN – Live music and cocktails and food available for purchase from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Saturdays at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort Beach near Finz Beachside Grille. Bring beach chair or blanket.

The Music Man
PENSACOLA – The all-American story of “The Music Man” will be at the Pensacola Little Theatre at 8 p.m. June 27 and 28. Tickets are $22-$18-$15. A $1 per ticket handling fee applies to all sales. For tickets, call 432-2042.

Comedy Night
OKALOOSA ISLAND – Howl at the Moon Comedy Night by “The Comedy Zone” is held every Sunday night featuring two touring comedians. Doors open at 7 p.m. Dueling Piano Show starts at 8. Comedy Show starts at 9.  Reservations recommended.

Act4Murder
DESTIN – Act4Murder performs their Irish-themed show, “Top O’ the Murder to You,” at McGuire’s Irish Pub, 33 U.S.  98, every Monday night through August. SANDESTIN – Events scheduled at the Village of Baytowne Wharf include:

Groovin’ on the Green

Seaside Repertory Theatre
SEASIDE –  The Seaside Repertory Theatre presents the following free  events at 7:30 p.m. in the Seaside Amphitheater. Visit www.seasiderep.org for information.
•Mondays: A Stone that Sings allows audiences to make choices that determine the plot.
•Tuesdays: Go, Dog. Go! presents a canine cabaret, with dogs played by six agile actors.

Funky Blues Shack
SANDESTIN – A unique collaboration of blues-rock, funky pop and hard-rocking originals by Zach Rosicka at 8 p.m. Tuesdays.
Tunes with a distinctive touch by Jacob Mohr at 8 p.m. Wednesdays.

Photographic display
DESTIN – A photographic display featuring local artist Gary Ayers will be held at the Destin Library through June 30. Subjects include the Destin harbor and beaches, sunsets and indigenous flora. Call 837-8572.

Bands on the Beach
PENSACOLA – The free concert series Bands on the Beach features Midnight Confessions from 7 to 9 p.m. June 30 at the Gulfside Pavilion on Pensacola Beach.
Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to the pavilion area. No pets are allowed and glass is prohibited. Call 932-2257 or visit www.visitpensacolabeach.com

Seaside Summer Concert Series
SEASIDE – The annual Seaside Summer Concert Series features Delta Highway from 7 to 9 p.m. July 1 in the Amphitheater.

Transformations Art Show
ROSEMARY BEACH – A select group of local artists will share their time and talents to benefit Alaqua Animal Refuge during the Transformations Art Show July 1–18 at Teresa Cline Gallery, 38 Main St. The art will be sold through silent auction bidding and funds raised will help support daily animal care at the refuge. The volunteer-run gallery will be open from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday. Call 231-0057.
An opening reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. July 1. Entertainment provided by Cody Copeland.

Art in Public Places
SANTA ROSA BEACH – The Walton County Tourist Development Council and Friends of Coastal Branch Library present the July 2009 Art in Public Places exhibit featuring the Women’s Art Network at the Coastal Branch Library. Call 267-1216.

Butler Organ Recital Series
FORT WALTON BEACH – The music ministry of First United Methodist Church, 123 First Street S.E. in Fort Walton Beach, will feature Dr. David Ott for the Butler Organ Recital Series at 12:05 p.m. July 1. All concerts are free lecture-performances with Ott explaining about the construction of the pipe organ, its wide-spread literature and the lives of composers who composed for the “king of instruments.” Call 687-0862.

Seaside Repertory Theatre
SEASIDE – The Seaside Repertory Theatre presents The Book of Liz Wednesdays through Saturdays through July 25 in the Meeting Hall Theatre. Admission is $24/guests and $20/members.

Late Night Improv Comedy

Red, White and Blue Celebration on the Harbor
DESTIN – The Red, White and Blue Celebration at HarborWalk Village on the Destin Harbor honoring a local hero will be held at 7 p.m. Thursdays with local entertainment. A WWII replica flyover begin at 7:20 p.m. and fireworks will begin at 8:30 p.m.

Act4Murder
SANDESTIN – Act4Murder performs their new show, “The Mystery of Red Leg the Dreaded, Pirate of the Gulf,” every Friday night in July at Another Broken Egg at Sunset Bay in the Links Conference Center in Sandestin. Seating begins at 6:15 p.m., with the dinner and show at 7 p.m. Price is $60 per person and includes the show, meal, tax and tip. Call 428-2624 for reservations.
