Man pushes woman out of bed during text message spat

DESTIN – A 26-year-old man was arrested Feb. 19 on charges of battery and criminal mischief.

The man and his girlfriend were in an argument about text messages she had received from another man, according to an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s report.

After the argument, the woman told the man that he should not be surprised if she did something behind his back while he was out of town.

The man then pushed the woman out of the bed and broke her cell phone. The woman told deputies after she was knocked out of the bed the man pushed her against a dog cage near their bed, the report said.
