Belk makes donation to United Way

Charlotte, N.C.-based Belk, Inc. recently contributed $5,000 to the United Way of Okaloosa/Walton County.

Brian McIntosh, store manager of Belk at Santa Rosa Mall, presented the check to Ronda Davenport, vice president of campaigns and marketing for the United Way of Okaloosa/Walton County at the Destin store.

“We’re pleased to present this contribution on behalf of Belk, Inc. and our store to benefit the local United Way agencies that serve our community,” McIntosh said. “This contribution represents one of our core values at Belk, which is to be involved in our communities and to give back in ways that will make a positive difference in the lives of our associates and customers. We’re proud of the outstanding volunteer efforts of our associates in supporting United Way and many other charities and non-profit organizations in this community.”
