POP PRINCESS: Destin youth debuts music video online (VIDEO)
Now that her new music video, “Enough,” is on YouTube, 12-year-old Amanda Sachse says her next goal is to get a record deal.
In the meantime, “we are going to let everybody see the new video and get the bullying message out there,” said the young Destin vocalist.
“Enough” was filmed in Atlanta July 20 by Radiant 3 productions. Friends, family and actors played the parts of students and teachers.
“I’m so happy with how it turned out. The cast and director did a wonderful job,” Sachse told The Log.
Dressed in punk-style attire she designed herself, Amanda and her peers stand up to the mean girl played by Ashlee Wood of Duluth, Ga. They snap photos of the blonde bully in action and hand her over to the principal.
In the music video, “we are enemies, but in real life we are best friends,” Sachse told The Log. “In between scenes we were laughing so hard because that’s not how she is in real life.”
A little more than two weeks after filming, “Enough,” made its debut online early Monday morning.
“I hope it goes big. I really like it and I had a lot of fun doing it,” the Destin Christian Academy graduate said. “It’s an important message to share.”
Since recording her pop single, Sachse and her family have decided to home school the up and coming seventh grader since she will be traveling to Atlanta and Nashville promoting her musical talents.
Right now, “we are playing with some ideas,” Sachse told The Log. “There is definitely more to come.”
