The spirit of the holidays will come alive in the main hallway of Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast as the hospital’s Volunteer Guild hosts its annual Holiday Extravaganza. The holiday sale will be open weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  through Dec. 20.

Guests of the extravaganza will enjoy a 15 percent discount on unique gift giving items, holiday decorations, tree ornaments, manger scenes, angels, baby clothing, festive toys and stocking stuffers, holiday cards and table décor. An additional 20 percent discount will be offered on select items. These discounts do not apply to Willow Tree items, Leaning Tree items or orders for flower arrangements.

“The Christmas Extravaganza is a true celebration of holiday spirit in the main corridor of the hospital,” said Barby Parks, gift shop manager and volunteer. “Our theme for the gift shops is ‘Shop while serving others,’ and the holiday sale is a great place to begin a wonderful season of giving and sharing with others.”

The Sacred Heart Gift Shop is a non-profit fundraising program operated by the Sacred Heart Hospital Volunteer Guild. In addition to operating the main Gift Shop, the Volunteer Guild opened the Baby Boutique in the Family Birth Place. Proceeds generated support current and future services at Sacred Heart, in addition to providing healthcare-based scholarships to local students and prescription drug assistance to underserved families in our community.
