Applications for Christmas Parade

Entry applications for the Destin Christmas Parade are available at cityofdestin.com and at the Destin Community Center. The deadline to apply is Nov. 29. In lieu of an entry fee, participants are asked to make toy and/or non-perishable food donations.

The parade will be held at 10 a.m. Dec.14 along Harbor Boulevard between Main Street and Stahlman Avenue.

Calling all singing voices

The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation will present their annual Christmas concert, Sounds of the Season, at 7 p.m. Dec. 6 at Village Baptist Church in Destin.  All residents and winter visitors are welcome to join in this collaborative community chorus.  

Rehearsal date is 9-11 a.m. Nov. 16 at Village Baptist church in the music suite. A final rehearsal will be held at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 5. For more information, call 650-2226 or visit www.mattiekellyartsfoundation.org.
