A REPORT FROM JETTY EAST (PHOTOS)
This report and photos comes from JJ Chambers, a Jetty East resident:
"These photos were taken around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday after Ida came on shore in the middle of the night around 2:30 a.m., during high tide. The media is generally reporting no damage to upland structures from Ida and
that is probably true for most of the gulf coast.
Unfortunately our area did suffer because we had no beach and condos and houses were already in the water prior to the storm."
