Destin Rocky Bayou Christian School recently participated in Serv-O-Lution for the fourth year since the campus opened. From sprucing up yards to bringing cheer to a local nursing home, students, faculty and staff at the Destin campus served those in the local community.
Serve-O-Lution reinforces the school’s ongoing mission of developing well-rounded students who are prepared not only for college and careers but for living enriched, productive lives.
Rocky Bayou Christian School has three locations. The main campus in Niceville includes classes from K3 to 12th grade. The Destin location includes classes K5 to 6th grade, and a new campus in Crestview serves students K4 to 5th.
Rocky Bayou Christian School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color or ethnicity in the admissions of students per USC 2000d. RBCS began its ministry with a 22-member student body in 1973. The present enrollment is more than 750 students, which includes students bused from as far away as DeFuniak Springs and Hurlburt Field. The school also offers a special services ministry and has developed Christ-centered early childhood curriculum materials that are being used nationwide by Christian day schools and home schoolers.
