Red, White and Blue Celebration
The celebration at 7 p.m. every Thursday at HarborWalk Village highlights the efforts of those who go above and beyond to better their community. Fat Tuesday Parade
Who wants some beads? Join in Fat Tuesday as HarborWalk Village transforms into the Big Easy on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. It’s one Pardi in Para-dise where you can enjoy dazzling floats, beads and lots of swag during a free parade through Harbor-Walk Village. Parade begins at 8:30 p.m. every Tuesday.

Art of the Landscape
Opening reception for the Arts and Design Society's show, "Art of the Landscape,” will be held from 6-8 p.m. July 21 at 17 First Street, SE, in Fort Walton Beach. ‘Sister Act’ at college
The Fine & Performing Arts Division of Northwest Florida State College presents the hit musical comedy “Sister Act” at 7:30 p.m. July 19-22 in the Mainstage Theater of the Mattie Kelly Arts Center at the Niceville Campus. The Mattie Kelly Arts Center Galleries present a national touring exhibition, Tales and Myths: The Paintings of Katherine Ace, through July 22 in both the McIlroy and the Holzhauer Galleries at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville. In the exhibition of works, Ace takes familiar and not-so-familiar fairy tales and retells them in large-scale mixed-media paintings. The exhibition is free of charge and open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 90 minutes prior to most Mainstage Theater performances.
Michael Holman will be the speaker at the Arts and Design Society’s luncheon at 11:30 a.m. July 26 at the Art Center Gallery, 17 First Street in Fort Walton Beach. His topic will be Face Art, a form of art in which a col-lage of faces makes up one main image on any object to which it has been applied, an art form preceding the 1940’s. Festival of the Arts
Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation presents the 22nd Annual Festival of the Arts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 28 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 29 at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village in Destin. A celebration of art, music, food and family fun, the Festival will showcase the original artwork of more than 100 artists and features a live music lineup, a food bistro, wine and beer garden, art activities for kids, souvenir posters and T-shirts, art raffle drawing and more.
