FORT WALTON BEACH – A man caught standing next to a burglarized vehicle while holding a leopard print glove that had been inside the car was arrested.

The 19-year-old Fort Walton Beach man told officers he’d been breaking into cars to take money to buy food.

But when he was arrested, he had numerous bottles and cans of beer in his possession.

He also had a purse with a woman’s identification cards and credit cards.

When officers tried to detain him, he resisted, the report said.

He was charged with burglary and resisting arrest.
