DESTIN — A 57-year-old worker at a construction site on Sunfish Street was flown to a hospital Thursday morning after falling 20 feet and hitting his head.

The 911 call came in at about 8:44 a.m. when the victim's co-worker called to report that they'd found him breathing but unconscious, according to the call history report.

He had a bad laceration to the back of his head, the caller reported, and was bleeding from the mouth and nose, the report said.

The caller said he didn't know what had caused the man to fall.

A medical helicopter was called and landed on Crystal Beach Drive. The man was flown to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center in serious condition, according to the latest information.

The caller told the dispatcher that they had been doing electrical work at the house.
