1. Destin Seafood Festival

The 39th annual Destin Seafood Festival will be held from 4-10 p.m. Oct. 6; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Oct. 7; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 8 on the Destin Harbor Boardwalk with live music, arts, crafts and fresh seafood. Fireworks are scheduled for 9 p.m. Oct. 7. Kids Zones will have pony rides, petting zoo, Hamster balls, rock climbing and a zip line. Admission is free.

The annual Mingo Toss contest for kids up to 12 years old will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 8 on top of the hill at Royal Melvin Heritage Park behind the Destin City stage.

2. Bloody Mary Festival

The Market Shops at the entrance to Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort will host its Third Annual Bloody Mary Festival to benefit Habitat for Humanity — Walton County from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 7. The event will feature unlimited tastes of the Emerald Coast’s innovative Bloody Marys served at restaurants and bars in the Panhandle and food will be available for purchase. Tickets are $40 in advance, $50 at the door or $100 for VIP tickets and include three hours of unlimited tastes of up to 25 Bloody Marys. Visit bit.ly/TMSBloodyMaryFest2017 for tickets.

3. Kids’ Fall Festival

The free Kids’ Fall Festival with arts, crafts, face painting, live music, fun and games, and the Home Depot Kids Workshop, will be held from 12-2 p.m. Oct. 9 at AJ’s Seafood & Oyster Bar at HarborWalk Village. Watch the weigh-ins for Destin Fishing Rodeo following event.
