The second annual Destin Charity Cornhole Tournament at Destin Commons was a sold-out success with 50 cornhole teams signing up to play, along with a great crowd of spectators. Proceeds benefited the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Centers (ECCAC) in Okaloosa and Walton counties.

Each player received a wrist band giving them entry to the Beer Garden, and spectators purchased wrist bands. In addition, sets of cornhole boards, painted by local artists, were silent auctioned with the overall proceeds benefiting ECCAC to serve children under abuse, abandonment or neglect.

The winning team was Jeremy Hiatt and Katie Beason, last year’s first place winners. Second place went to James Hill and Keith Hugg, and in third place was Matt Mittelstadt and Jamie Woodard.
