Ken Hair (left), Children in Crisis president/CEO, is presented a check for $1,741.31 from Suzie West, executive director of the Community Foundation of Northwest Florida along with foundation board of directors member Justin Tate. The funds will be used to help give a home to the at-risk children living at the CIC Neighborhood.
“Support from the Community Foundation of Northwest Florida is a tremendous help in our efforts to provide a safe home to the abused, neglected and abandoned children of our local community,” said Hair. “On behalf of our children, we sincerely thank you.”
The CIC Neighborhood facility was built by the generous support of the community. It has an emergency shelter for children who are removed without notice from an unsafe environment, family foster homes for young children and a teen transition home for foster children aging out of care.
