Food For Fines

During the month of December the Destin Library will accept donations of food and hygiene items for the Harvest House Food Pantry as payment for overdue fines. Donations should be of approximately equivalent value to the amount of your fines. Favorites include peanut butter, canned meats, and dried pasta.

Forgot your food? No problem! You can also donate the amount of your fines in cash to Harvest House to get your account cleared.

Expired food items or donations that may have been compromised by damaged packaging will not be accepted. The Food for Fines program cannot be used to pay for lost or damaged library materials. Call 837-8572.
