HANCEVILLE – Tra Knight had a big night on Saturday, scoring 27 points, making nine assists, eight rebounds and eight steals to lead No. 12-ranked Shelton State in a 79-75 Alabama Community College Conference win at Wallace State-Hanceville.

The Bucs also got scoring power from Matthew Horton, who ended the game with 16 points, and Charles Norman, who scored 13.

DeMarcus Lampley led Wallace State and the game with 29 points.

Shelton State is 16-1 overall and 2-0 in ACCC play and will host Snead State on Tuesday.
